EEI has done work for clients to model portfolios that can be used to help fixed income investors diversify taxable fixed income holdings. We have helped customers to integrate their comprehensive corporate bond research, currency research and economic & market analysis to develop the models. Securities are typically screened for inclusion based on (i) a positive or neutral fundamental credit opinion from the appropriate research group within a company (ii) minimum credit ratings based on client risk tolerance and (iii) liquidity. We have worked with all five basic model types: Diversified, Government and Corporate Ladders, Check-A-Month, Single Class, and International.
