Overview
This course provides students with an in-depth view of the EnterpriseFTX™ suite of products and the financial services industry standards protocols that it supports. Particular attention is afforded the Open Financial Exchange (OFX) protocol, including the extensions created by EEI for OFX-enabled brokerage support. Learn about the architecture of the EnterpriseFTX™ platform for financial services; how to deliver online services through multiple electronic channels including Quicken, QuickBooks, TurboTax, LaCert, H&R Block TaxCut, Money, Mobile Devices, and Web Portals; and how to leverage EnterpriseFTX™ rapid System Integration Modeling Language, (SIML) to integrate EnterpriseFTX™ with existing business systems. In addition, this course covers the important OFX certification process. Learn from experienced OFX implementers what’s involved in navigating the OFX certification process successfully. Students will also learn, hands-on, how to install an EnterpriseFTX™ environment.
Objectives
Upon completion, students should be able to:
- Install an EnterpriseFTX™ environment
- Understand the EnterpriseFTX™ architecture and how the components work together.
- Set-up online clients, including Quicken, to access online financial services through EnterpriseFTX™
- Understand EnterpriseFTX™ deployment options and the OFX certification process
- Use EnterpriseFTX™’s intelligent system integration utility, SIML, to map protocol messages to back end systems.
- Understand the complete transaction flow involved in delivering online financial services through EnterpriseFTX™.
