Enterprise Engineering has an established history of creating software to enable the delivery of business services over the Internet and providing technology consulting services to Fortune 500 companies. EEI is a Software Provider for the Financial Services marketplace. The Company markets several packaged applications, referred to as Business Service Modules, including Business Banking, Retail Banking, Credit Card, Electronic Bill Payment and Presentment, Portfolio Management, Retirement Services, and Tax Reporting.

The Company’s applications or Business Service Modules run on a ‘player’ which is simply an integration tool enabling rapid deployment of the application. This ‘player’ is referred to as the Universal Financial Engine™ or UFE and is a state-of-the-art Integration Broker platform used to connect multiple back-end systems to customer touch points and access channels. Once a customer has deployed an application, future applications are ‘plug and play’. Customers can purchase more ‘players’ to scale an application or to deploy additional applications.

The EnterpriseFTX™ software suite provides rapid application deployment through proprietary technology referred to as SIML™, or System Integration Modeling Language. SIML™ allows companies to integrate their legacy and other core systems for the seamless delivery of business services and financial products. The suite supports delivery of multiple financial products through a single, unified platform. SIML™ allows EnterpriseFTX™ to serve as a single point of entry to multiple business systems such as mainframes, relational databases, messaging systems, and real-time data sources.

EnterpriseFTX™ is designed with an open architecture to capitalize on the flexibility and extensibility of Internet technologies. It provides a seamless channel for delivering data to packaged applications, portals, personal financial management software, Internet based interfaces, wireless devices, and other applications. The following illustration provides an architectural overview of the EnterpriseFTX™ Product Suite.

The EnterpriseFTX™ product suite is comprised of the following core components:

1. Business Service Modules are applications corresponding to financial products or other business services. Applications are registered with the Universal Financial Engine™.
2. The Universal Financial Engine™ is a robust XML Integration Broker based on J2EE technology. It provides transaction management and handles data in any format such as XML, HTML, and EDI.
3. SIML™ is the Developer Workbench; as such it provides the common interface between the Integration Broker and systems residing in the Integration Tier.
4. SIML/Advisor adds intelligent transformation and routing functions to the SIML™ interface.
5. Universal Channel Link is the common interface between the Integration Broker and Touch Points residing in the Delivery Tier.
